In 1963, Henry “Chic” Shichowy began a long term association with Andersen Windows & Patio Doors, a product he believed in, from a company he greatly admired.

In 1970 Henry established HAS Building Supplies as the 1st independent Andersen dealer in Canada. Over the next 40 years, from showrooms located in Hamilton, Stoney Creek & Toronto, HAS has provided Andersen sales & support from the Caribbean to Baffin Island, from Wabush, Newfoundland to Haifa, Israel.

Family owned & operated, at HAS we stand strong in our belief that even the very best of products require attention to detail, technical knowledge & professional installation & service.
As an Andersen “ Circle of Excellence” Dealer, HAS staffs our own, in house service technicians necessary to administer the longest & most complete warranties in the industry.

Our showroom is conveniently located adjacent to the QEW Highway in Stoney Creek, and is dedicated entirely to our wide selection of window & door products, displayed in full functioning sizes.
